VitalPath, a CDMO offering complicated catheters and precise laser components, has announced the appointment of Bill Ellerkamp as its Chief Executive Officer. Ellerkamp brings more than 40 years of experience in the medical technology sector, having previously served as President and CEO of Precision Coating. During his tenure, he led strategic acquisitions, expanded global operations, and drove investments in automation and materials development. His leadership resulted in the successful sale of Precision Coating to Integer Holdings Corporation in early 2025. As CEO of VitalPath, Ellerkamp aims to strengthen the company’s role in providing advanced catheter solutions for minimally invasive surgical markets, including Electrophysiology, Structural Heart, and Vascular Intervention.
Before joining VitalPath, Ellerkamp held leadership roles at various medical device companies and served as an Industry Executive Partner at Inverness Graham Investments for more than 15 years. His extensive experience in complex catheter design and manufacturing aligns with VitalPath’s focus on delivering high-quality solutions to its customers. Aliya Khaydarova, Managing Principal at Inverness Graham Investments, expressed confidence in Ellerkamp’s ability to drive growth and lead the company through its next phase of success.
