Sprinter Health has raised $55 million in a Series B funding round led by General Catalyst, with participation from Andreessen Horowitz Bio + Health and other investors, including Google Ventures and the Regents of the University of California. Since its founding in 2021, the company has raised over $125 million to support its hybrid care model that blends in-person visits with virtual clinical support. Sprinter focuses on reaching people who are often left out of traditional healthcare by deploying trained staff into communities to deliver preventive services and diagnostics at home. Its platform uses advanced logistics and scheduling tools to help its staff provide care efficiently, adapting to varied local conditions.
The company has expanded its services from five states in 2023 to 18 currently, with plans to reach 22 by the end of summer 2025. With nearly 100,000 home visits completed so far, Sprinter addresses over 20 quality measures and maintains an 80% care gap closure rate. Beyond diagnostics, its staff identify social risks and connect patients with resources. Holly Maloney, Managing Director of General Catalyst, commented, "We believe Sprinter Health is emerging as a category-defining company in home-based care. They've built the technological infrastructure to make care both scalable and impactful for the people who need it most.” By improving access and continuity of care, Sprinter aims to reduce chronic disease costs and enhance long-term outcomes. The new funding will support further expansion and strengthen partnerships with national health plans.
