ŌURA has introduced two new features—Meals and Glucose—into its Oura App to support more comprehensive metabolic health tracking. These tools integrate biometric data with nutrition and glucose insights, offering members a more detailed understanding of how daily habits impact their health. Meals, now a permanent feature, uses AI to analyze meal photos, focusing on macronutrients rather than calorie counts. This function helps users identify how different foods affect their energy and well-being. In partnership with Dexcom, ŌURA also offers Glucose monitoring through Stelo, the first FDA-cleared glucose biosensor available without a prescription in the U.S., which members can now purchase directly through ŌURA’s website.
The Glucose feature provides continuous glucose readings about sleep, activity, meals, and stress. This integration allows members to observe patterns over time and adjust behaviors based on real-world feedback. Oura Advisor, the app’s AI health coach, offers personalized guidance based on tracked data and user questions. Meals and Glucose are currently available to U.S.-based members on iOS and Android, with international expansion of Meals planned for later this year. Both features aim to help users build sustainable habits through informed decision-making, reflecting ŌURA’s focus on individualized health tracking supported by wearable technology and AI-based insights.
