The acquisition includes specific intellectual property rights related to Sites Medical's OsteoSync titanium pads. Nanovis' nano surface technology, designated by the FDA for bone growth, improves the biologic fixation of orthopedic, spine, and dental implants through osseointegration, the process where bone fuses with the implant surface. The collaboration aims to provide surgeons with advanced implants that support faster and more consistent bone growth.
