Lilly Announces Executive Leadership Changes to Support Growth

Eli Lilly and Company has announced several executive leadership changes aimed at strengthening its focus on key markets and therapeutic areas to support continued growth. Ilya Yuffa, currently Executive Vice President and President of Lilly International, will now become Executive Vice President and President of Lilly USA and Global Customer Capabilities, overseeing sales, marketing, and commercial operations for all U.S.-marketed products as well as upcoming product launches. Patrik Jonsson, who was Executive Vice President and President of Lilly Cardiometabolic Health, will transition to Executive Vice President and President Lilly International, responsible for markets outside the U.S. Kenneth Custer, Ph.D., General Manager of Lilly Canada, will be promoted to Executive Vice President and President of Lilly Cardiometabolic Health and will join the company’s Executive Committee.

These changes come as Lilly continues to expand its presence in the U.S. and cardiometabolic health sectors while advancing its pipeline. CEO David A. Ricks expressed confidence, "With these changes, we will create the additional focus we need to reach the next level.
