GE HealthCare and DeepHealth Collaborate on AI-Powered Imaging

GE HealthCare and DeepHealth, a subsidiary of RadNet, announced a strategic partnership to advance AI-powered imaging solutions. This collaboration combines GE HealthCare's expertise in medical imaging with DeepHealth's innovative AI informatics to address critical challenges in radiology workflows. The initial focus will be integrating DeepHealth’s SmartMammo AI technology with GE HealthCare’s Senographe Pristina mammography system to enhance breast cancer screening.

SmartMammo leverages AI to prioritize cases by suspicion level, streamline diagnostics, and improve operational efficiency while maintaining seamless integration with healthcare IT systems. The companies plan to introduce Smart Alerts for rapid identification of suspicious lesions, enabling same-day diagnostics and reducing patient anxiety. GE HealthCare will distribute SmartMammo in the U.S., marking a significant step in its mission to improve early cancer detection and patient care.

GE HealthCare, a global leader in medical technology, combines imaging, diagnostics, and advanced data analytics to deliver patient-centric care. DeepHealth, under RadNet’s digital health umbrella, provides AI-driven solutions aimed at improving operational efficiency and clinical outcomes in imaging, focusing on breast, lung, prostate, and brain health. Together, the collaboration seeks to expand AI-based innovations to other clinical domains, underscoring the transformative potential of AI in personalized, efficient, and compassionate healthcare delivery.
