Cardinal Health has introduced the Kendall DL Multi System in the United States, a device that continuously monitors cardiac activity, blood oxygen levels, and temperature through one connection. The system is designed to accompany patients from admission to discharge, streamlining clinician workflows and supporting consistent monitoring. It incorporates a built-in cable management system to reduce lead wire clutter and features a proprietary design that minimizes false alarms and motion-related disturbances in ECG tracings, thereby improving the accuracy of readings. The device also helps reduce infection risks tied to reusable lead wires and is eligible for reprocessing through Cardinal Health’s medical device recycling program.
Rachel Schott, Global Vice President for Specialty Products at Cardinal Health, highlighted, “This innovative addition to the Kendall DL portfolio removes complexity for busy care teams, and at the same time, helps enhance clinical performance with multi-parameter monitoring.” She added, “By enabling more efficient workflows and driving clinical excellence, this new solution can potentially support the financial performance of healthcare providers.” The Kendall DL Multi System is now available across the U.S. healthcare market.
