AdvancedMD has announced the promotion of Amanda Sharp to Chief Executive Officer and the appointment of Bryan Hunt as Chief Financial Officer. Sharp, who has been with the company for over 18 years, previously served as President and Vice President of Strategy and Business Development. Her leadership transition follows AdvancedMD’s acquisition by Francisco Partners, which was finalized in December 2024. Sharp expressed enthusiasm for the company’s future, highlighting its strong workplace culture and focus on healthcare technology advancements. Hunt, who brings extensive financial leadership experience from Health Catalyst and Deloitte Corporate Finance, will oversee all financial operations at AdvancedMD.
The company has continued to expand, forming new partnerships with Jopari Solutions and Mental Health Technologies to enhance integration capabilities. The company has also introduced major updates, including an integrated credit card processing terminal and a Population Health solution, further strengthening its healthcare technology platform.
