ŌURA, a leader in wearable health technology, has announced its acquisition of Sparta Science, a provider of health and performance analytics, as part of its mission to enhance population health at scale. The acquisition will enable ŌURA to incorporate Sparta Science’s Trinsic data platform into its Oura Teams enterprise offering. This integration will allow organizations to collect, analyze, and apply human performance data more effectively, offering insights on group and individual health metrics. The enhanced platform will cater to ŌURA’s growing roster of enterprise, healthcare, and government clients, providing tools for improving organizational readiness and resilience while supporting HIPAA compliance and cybersecurity standards.
The acquisition aligns with ŌURA's commitment to broadening its enterprise solutions, as demonstrated by partnerships with institutions such as the Department of Defense. Trinsic’s capabilities will allow Oura Teams to integrate data from the Oura Ring with other third-party data sources, enhancing tools for scheduling, resource allocation, and health monitoring. This move is part of a year of rapid expansion for ŌURA, which introduced the fourth-generation Oura Ring in 2024, surpassing 2.5 million sales. Sparta Science marks ŌURA's third acquisition in two years, underscoring its growth trajectory and dedication to advancing health insights and solutions on a global scale.
