Beginning in 2025, eligible seniors enrolled in Essence Healthcare’s plans can receive an Oura Ring and Membership at no additional cost. The Oura Ring tracks health metrics such as sleep quality, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, and blood oxygen levels, helping seniors gain real-time insights into their health and manage wellness proactively. Essence Healthcare, known for its high-quality Medicare Advantage plans, aims to empower members with personalized tools for better health management, setting a new standard for wearables in senior healthcare.
Through API integration, Oura’s data will connect with Essence’s existing population health system, allowing both members and clinicians to access valuable health insights. This collaboration is expected to support seniors in underserved areas by offering remote health management and enhancing care between medical visits. Essence Healthcare serves over 60,000 members and consistently earns top ratings from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, a testament to its commitment to quality care.
