DuPont to Acquire Donatelle Plastics, Enhancing Healthcare Capabilities

DuPont has disclosed its intention to acquire Donatelle Plastics Incorporated, a distinguished contract manufacturer of medical devices. The objective of this acquisition is to substantially improve DuPont's healthcare portfolio within its industrial solutions line of business in the electronics and industrial (E&I) segment. The transaction is anticipated to be finalized in the third quarter of 2024, subject to regulatory approvals and customary conditions. Spectrum, a pioneer in medical device components, and Liveo, a company recognized for its silicone solutions for healthcare applications, are among DuPont's current healthcare assets. 

DuPont will be able to integrate sophisticated technologies and capabilities, including medical device injection molding, liquid silicone rubber processing, precision machining, device assembly, and tool building, as a result of the acquisition of Donatelle Plastics. This strategic move will improve DuPont's capacity to provide comprehensive solutions to its healthcare clients.

Donatelle Plastics, which was established in 1967 and is headquartered in New Brighton, Minnesota, has a workforce of more than 400 individuals.
